Guwahati: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal announced an economic package of Rs 10 lakh which will be used to rehabilitate the victims of the Baghjan Fire tragedy in Tinsukia on Tuesday.
Ajmal in a tweet said that around 3,000 women will be with provided clothes like mekhela chadars and sarees and on the other hand, 300 men will receive shirts and pants.
Ajmal also said that his Foundation will hand over Rs 50,000 ex gratia payments to the family members of the two firefighters who lost their lives in the Baghjan oil tragedy.
The relief work will be kickstarted from today, added Ajmal.
